Loading and unloading are important considerations when transporting furniture. Our driver will be happy to assist at both addresses, but cannot move large or heavy items alone. The type, dimensions and weight of the furniture determine how many people are required to move it safely. This must be taken into account when arranging the transport.
Access conditions can also affect whether the furniture can be moved safely. As the buyer, please consider where the item needs to be placed. Does it need to be carried upstairs? Is a lift available, and will the furniture fit inside it? Will it fit through the entrance, doorways and staircase? Is there enough room to turn with it?
We have encountered situations where an item had to be returned because it was physically impossible to bring it into the intended location.
In addition to its dimensions and weight, the shape and material of the furniture are also important. Different materials, such as wood, fabric, leather, metal, gold, marble and glass, require different handling and protection.

- We can fully protect the furniture from packaging from possible transport damage.
- The most commonly used materials for packaging: cardboard, foil, bubble wrap, sponge, blanket, sheet.
- There are materials that cannot be transported or can only be transported with special packaging – this needs to be agreed upon, e.g. marble, glass.

- We plan our routes entirely around our customers’ orders, so we visit some areas more frequently than others.
- We arrange pickup and delivery times with both the sender and the recipient at least 24 hours in advance.
- We operate on a flexible schedule, so pickup and delivery may take place outside normal working hours, including early mornings and late evenings, while taking individual requirements into account.
- Estimated delivery time: 1–14 days, or up to 21 days for less frequently served areas.
- We do not use conveyor belts when handling shipments and, whenever possible, we avoid transferring items from one van to another. We generally aim to complete the delivery using the same vehicle that collected the shipment, reducing the risk of damage.
- Our standard transport service is door-to-door (curbside). In-home pickup or delivery is available in the Parisian region and as part of our moving services, subject to prior arrangement. Shipments can also be dropped off or collected at a MaplogPoint.

A warehouse where, by prior arrangement, you can drop off or collect your shipment in person.

Why did we create them?
- Because some of our customers need this option.
- For some customers, dropping off or collecting their shipment at a MaplogPoint is more convenient.
- Customers do not need to be available at a specific pickup or delivery time.
- MaplogPoints also make it easier for us to serve locations outside our standard service areas, whether customers bring their shipment themselves or use a domestic courier service.
- If we visit a pickup or delivery area less frequently, customers can send their shipment to or collect it from a MaplogPoint, either in person or through a domestic courier service (usually used in Hungary).
